Relocating Battery to bed

What is the point of relocating the battery to the bed or in the bed? Is this just to have more room under the hood to tuck? Isnt it hard to re-run all the cables?

room for wheels and to get rid of some of the clutter thats under the hood. Not hard to do. Just get some 0 gauge wire and run it from the positive to the starter. Run 10 guage from the alternator to the positive. Make a new ground.
