79 Chevy Luv

I just picked up a 79 chevy luv, no motor or tranny. but was set up for a buick v-6 or v-8, or a Small block chevy motor. Need ideas on what kind of motor to put in it. Building it to look old school, but want a sick motor in it. Come on guy's let's see what idea's you guy's can come up with. Thanx

yah, run a 231 or whatever the old impala straight 6 motors were. that would be sick.

yeah that would be cool but a grand national motor with turbo that be cool and fast or u can do a 327 or 350 blower motor

hell i'd put in a boosted 22re personally.

Back in the day people used to run the buick 231 v6. They make allot of aftermarket parts for them and they are essy to find. If I remeber correctly the 231 and the 3.8 are the same

good luck finding a grand national motor by itself. The cars sell for 12000+......and as far as I know, if they aren't running, they have holes in them haha.

do a straight 6 if there is room for it.
