anyone fix ipods?

i have a broken nano i put a screen in and it doesnt turn on i think somehting is messed up with the pod i kinda binked on and off twice but there is a little strap that looks liek it should sit on the battery when the case is closed and it broke off i think its time to stop messin around and buy a new one. i just got my ipod video stolen and i cant see spending that much money again
