Towing with bags on ladder bars??

Ok, I'm thinking of buying a OBS Silverado single cab with a 350 for a tow pig to pull the new 61 impala, no big deal. But the truck is bagged, it was done right by Ekstensive like a year ago. It's bagged on the ladders though. What does everyone think about using that as a tow pig? I've heard of bags blowing right there when you put some weight on em, rather than on the axle.

Moreover, what do you think about towing a bumper pull trailor with bags rather than towing a gooseneck where the hitch is on the bridge and takes stress off the frame?

Any help is appreciated.

Anyone?? I'm needing to move on this truck within the next couple of days and just wondering if I should get a non-bagged tow pig for the same price as this one. The price is right on the truck.

that bag blowing sounds kinda scary, couldnt you just upgrade them to bags that can handle a higher load? like dump truck bags?

I dont have ladder bars. I have a para 4link from the front with a canti setup from the rear. Very similar to a KP setup for S10's. We just used large bars with thick walls, and under brases on the canti bars. SlamSpecialties 8" bags. I tow all the time with a bumper pull. My trailer weighs about 2400lbs and this Caddi isnt light itself. No problems. Just make sure everything is bracedup good and thick, you should be fine.

Oh by the way. Sorry for the gigantic wall paper size pic. I guess I should have down sized that pic first.
