smoothing out interior...

im going to tear out the interior to smooth and spray. just curious what grit sandpaper you recommend starting and finishing with... i have an 03 s10... any help is greatly appreciated...

hay i did my door panals so far u need to start with 36 to break down the texture then 80 to smooth out the 36 scratces the ni went over that with 220, after that i primed them with 5 coats of filler primer then wet sanded with 400 till smooth and painted them.

I sanded mine with 80 grit on the DA. and 36 by hand in the edges. Then hit it with some Duplicolor fill and sand primer . then sanded that with 180 then i wet sanded. i havent painted them yet but i hope they look like mikes
