Well I walk out to my truck to go to school, and someone took my fucking stereo. Would have never thought it would happen at my house. I've left my truck unlocked for a week before... This time it was locked, and all they did to break in was push down my driver side window... Doesn't seem to hard to break into Rangers...

the cops are on thier way but they aren't going to do anything. Hopefully my insurance covers everything. They even took my backpack!! fuck fuck fuck fuck fuck.

So I'm going to be checking craigslist and the local classifieds for the next month since my amp was old and you don't seem them for sale much (Old RF Punch 360.a2)...

This pisses me off... next thing I buy is going to be a car alarm... Sorry, I just had to vent.

Now that truly sucks to hear, especially with that amp. Good luck on insurance as you probably have a deductible and they will state that the amp looses value over time so it is a loss to you. Good luck.

happen to me before sucks. not much you can do. I have state farm they coverd with replacement syetem. but i had to pay my 500 deductable. since they also pay for the new install i had them take that part off since i could do it and just give what they can with out me paying the deductable. I didnt think of it at the time but you could probly install the window yourself and save them/YOU money with them only paying for actual glass. And dont worry the anger passes.

was the amp secured down? insurance most likely not cover the book bag. atleast when my truck got broken into they didnt cover my cd's i had in there because "they can be takin in and out of the vehicle and not secured to it."

I think everyone has been there before they broke my window out. Insurance did pay for everything -deductable. Good Luck!

Well the window wasn't broken... it was just rolled down some and I thought they just pushing it down... looks like they broke the lock on the passanger side...

One old cop was a total prick about it, the younger new guy was cool... I said I didn't see any forced entry (he walked around and didn't see it) so he said I left it unlocked... I told him no, I always lock it (I left my other truck unlocked every once in a while, never this one). Then he said I left the window rolled down. And I got pissed at that point... main reason is, IT WAS RAINING WHEN I GOT HOME! Why in the fuck would my window be down?!

I'm friends with my insurance agent so hopefully he can help me out. It looks like they just dumped everything out of my backpack, so I still have my $180 math book.

Luckily I have been lazy and haven't put my $600 worth of CD's back in my truck!

"Luckily I have been lazy and haven't put my $600 worth of CD's back in my truck!"....

Thats why i invest in MP3s I keep my cd at home. But sorry to hear about break-in. I wish someone would come steal my old RF amp. Give me an excuse to finally upgrade, although you might get about $50 at the pawn shop for it

What is a good alarm to get? I don't want this shit happening again. I think I am going to build my next box so you can't see the subs and so it doesn't look like that is what it's for... Or make some sort of cover for it... anyone have any ideas on that?

I'm still pissed, and should I worry about the broken lock? I am going to get it fixed, but that will probably be a while depending on how quick insurance is. Anything I should do to keep my truck safe in the mean time?
