HID Envoy head lights

what all do you need besides the actual hid headlamp is there anything mounted anywhere else that is needed to make the hid's work??? pics would be great...

i was told there was 2 boxes mounted to the core support in the envoys... that is needed to make the hid's work is this true does anyone know what they look like i also have some headlights for sale....

the head light has a ignitor attached to the back of it and there is a wire going from that to a box on the core support call a balest that is what powers the head lights they are hard wired together with out the balest the head lights are no good there very complicated head lights.

can you buy just the ballast anywhere????

yes the ballast are 500 from the dealer and about 400 from the junk yard there not stupid.
