Hey, im in the stages of thinking of what location i want to put my braking components at. I think iwant to keep my firewall clean of everything, but im not certain.

has anyone done one of the conversions that relocated the MC, booster and brake pedal to being mounted on the frame......or has anyone done the conversion that flips your booster inside the cab, and underthe dash..

just looking for experinces, pictures, ideas......

thanks

kugel components sells a pedal assembly with a booster and master cylinder mounted under the dash.

they sell it with a booster option too

wilwood sells an underdash assembly also that uses dual master cylinders but no power booster option

Ive built several trucks with the booster on the frame and no matter what check valves I used the brakes felt like a sponge.I tryed pressure bleeding and it didn't help.It works on the frame but is substandard to gravity held braking.Thats why they don't do it anymore.
