98 accord dash ?

someone please tell me how to remove the middle section of the dash from my 98 accord.what all is involved.goin to take out and finish the hypnotic swirl theme on it.why can't i get the damn center console out.any tricks.got every bolt i can see and it will not budge.

the dash pad is a PAIN IN THE ASS. labor on it is 6 hrs, mainly due othe wireing harness being rounted inside it. i wana say there are 4 screws under the shifter, and a couple inside the console. and some on the side. its a BITCH>

I had an older accord, and there was screws under the middle that you could only get by taking out the ashtray. Did you check under there?

haven't tried it yet.getting info from you guys before i attempt it.don't want to tear anything up.any help is greatly appreciated.
