I was thinkin about fabbing up a jig and producing frames..or at least the front clips..figured it would be about the same as an s-10 clip..maybe 2x3 3/16 box..not sure which a-arms to use..maybe afco..kinda like a scotts ifs front clip..how much would they be worth a piece? just the front clip..no arms or spindles..

not really for the simple fact that the people that you would even sell it to would be do it your selfers, they might just so they dont have to do it but when they see how much it would cost the do it yourselfers would just buy the metal and do it for way cheaper then what you would wanna sell it for

If you made a front clip to replace a Ranger's "I" beams with "a" arms, you might make some money.

well I was thinkin of a "universal type" front end with control arms and possibly rack and pinion steering based on an s-10 type suspension..it was just a thought..I believe I might still make a jig and produce a couple for my own projects..

there is a market for everything...just not a steady one..

just a front clip seems sorta pointless IMO...only cause it would be really sweet...then every thing else would be stock..

Come on who is gonna buy a custom front clip and attach it to there stock frame, i would imagine most people would be building a whole frame. And not everyone is capable of settin up a front end wit arms and what not

Can you imagine how much it would cost to ship something like that??? That would probably be enough to make me not interested in it.

Heres one I've been working on (for long time) no call for it. It is for an S-10 (mustang II/universal style). got rails in stock if anyones interested.

persoanlly i wouldnt base a suspension design off of an s-10 due to the weird caster angles when dropped. or a MII either due to the short arms. id probably use toyota geometry with lower a-arms. yota clips give awesome lift (around 10-11 inches) without crazy camber and toe changes.

i thought someone was doing this for rangers. could have been the "control arm bandit" (BYC) but it would definately be worth the R&D on those trucks. especially if it could be set up with motor and core support mounts on it, so all thats needed is a quick alignment and weld it on.

The only thing S-10 about it was going to be the spindles, the only thing M II about was going to be the somewhat "universal" Idea. The arms are about 2 1/2" longer than M II style also.
