Well, I finnaly stepped up to nitro and the regulator I have is kinda crappy. Its stuck at about 130 psi output and while its cool not having to run a compressor and shit, Id like my system to be faster. I want to get a new regulator and wanted to know what everyone else is running. My goal is 200 psi output.
Also, I have a 3 gallon tank at the moment, If I can find a place for it would it be a good idea to use a 7 or 10 gallon tank since I like to hit switches alot?
i have a adjustable 0-600 psi regulator and i have cans i have played at 275psi, my valves didnt like it!
Ricky at whynotfab.com has a 30-450 PSI nitrogen regulator for $125 more than enough adjustability for what you need.. I run mine at about 175-210 Im not much of a switch junkie.. Ive had the same little S-size bottle since November LMAO..
i run a Victor 250. its range is from 0-600psi out put, inlet of 3000psi i have had it 4 years now and no problems yet. new they run about $126.00
i have victor also and run mine at 235 to 240 my valve are rated for 250 so i dont push it to the max but on a crw cab dually it gets up with a quickness on my s-10 i have ekstensive valves and run my regulator at 225 on that truck and can pull the front end off the ground and i am coming straight outta the bottle no reserve tank....
I've got a 0 - 200 PSI regulator sitting on my desk here at work I'll see for cheap.
It was recently inspected and tuned. make me an offer and I'll ship it to you.
I offer a half eaten bag of peanuts and six miniature reeses cups.

you can find regulators on ebay...ive looked myself you can find good victors for like 50 bucks sometimes less...
you dont need a bigger tank if you dont want...as long as the nitrogen bottle feeds into your 3 gal. and keeps your psi switch off you'll be fine. once the bottle runs out and your compressors kick on, if you regulator is open it will fill the 3 gal tank and what space is left in bottle so you'll still have more than 3 gal of air at what ever your psi switch is set to turn off at. only time you'll have only 3 gal. of air is if you turn the regulator off or change the bottle out.
i have a question though.. if i get a regulator with an max inlet psi of 3000 and the outlet psi (gauge wise) reads it will go put to like 1500. could i just put a smaller gauge on the outlet side so i could fine tune the psi down to like 180-220 range? the outlet gauge thats on it doesnt even move up one little line until its after 200...so just curious if i could just swap out the gauge to fix that.
IHOP AIR DEVELOPMENT USED TO SELL A HIGH FLOW 3/8 REGULATOR.DONT KNOW WHAT BRAND IT WAS OR HOW MUCH THO.GOOD FOR FILLING THE TANK UP REALLY FAST.
Do you just use a push conect fitting on the regulator for the airline to the tank or do you have to have a airline with crimped ends so the line wont blow out?
