in another thread you said that uve seen someone put the 2 5gal in like that and youve seen it with 2 slim 5gal also you said. Im putting my kit on right now and i was test fitting a normal 5gallon where the most rear one would go and with RS-72 slams i can only see it hitting the tanks with there aired up, and even deflated. The person you know with it setup like that, do the bags rub or anything up against the tanks?

I tried it that way but my drain plug would have been sticking out futher. I did it this way with the slim tanks. You just have to be carefull not to drag the ass end or you get a hole in your tanks.

Hey man.

That setup we did that you posted is stock bedfloor above the tanks. The bags have about 1" of clearance from the tanks. he is running RE7s.Its actually a really simple setup...First thing I did was bolt the 2 tanks together at the legs. Then I took 2 pieces of angle iron and spaced them apart the thickness of the crossmember (centered on the legs). I drilled some holes through the crossmember and the angle and bolted it all together.

Then I cut the legs off the rear tank and rotated it to where there was no ports hanging off the bottom and we could run the 4 lines out the back. Then just weld the legs back onto the tank.

Bedfloor:

Hope that helps.
