logo issues

some members in our club want to change our logo its been the same logo since we started and was the logo we had when they joined but due to a old member being part of it they want to change it now the other members are fine with the design and we dont want to loose good freinds over it so what do you guys think?

How long have you had the logo? And if they dont want to be your friend due to whats on your back window they arent your friend to start with and your club would be better off with out them.

I think its something you guys need to work out as a club. why dont you just have a club vote to see.but i myself dont like the logo.

why not have mulitple designs? same name... shouldnt matter.

uniformity is the key, and i think the logo is fine. if youve had it for years i wouldnt change it.

I agree with Ernie and AC.

i like the logo. but maybe suggest to your members not to change the logo but to add to it. maybe you can put a back ground to it to where each member can customize it other than colors.. but you would still be unified by the logo... check out severed ties logos and no regrets.. the have the same basic logo on every vehicle. but the back grounds and themes go with there truck.. i dont know if that confusing.. its just a suggestion, but i do like the logo and i think it looks fine the way it is... and as far as friends... you dont need members that are in it for a logo.. just my 2 cents on what ive experienced..

only way i ever see changing a logo as a issue in a club is if these reasons come up..

a. the logo is un readable in the first place.

b. the president left the club and had the old logo only released to him..

c. the club fell apart n was re organized with what members were left and wanted a fresh start...

other than that. i dont see a reason for a change. your name is readable, its because of one member im guessing not the pres. who cares a logo is a logo. its the family not the vinyl, paint or plaque i agree on the comment about severed & no regrets but id like to add also subversive into the list as all of there logos are custom to a limit all have the club logo all are readable and all have their own unique but uniform touches...

BIGe got it right. We changed our logo after a major house cleaning. But it should be initiated by older members not just people that came in. If they just got there and don't like it why did they join?
