CLUB RULES????

We usually have meeting every other sunday night but during the winter time things have been a lil more layed back b/c not to much is going on and people are working on there rides too. As far as the "rules" every club is different as far as what rides and the people they let in. Some clubs have trial time for which a member is petitioning. For example: come to at least 5 meetings and 2 or 3 shows. And then everyone vote. I think some clubs lose the idea of family and brotherhood and just focus on the rides. Someone can have a sick ass truck but be a complete dick. As far as I am concerned I would not be with Twisted Fantasies if I didn't get along with everyone regardless of what they drive.

whatever you decide on, STICK TO THEM. its very frustrating when clubs make up rules and dont follow them.

thats why the only requirement we have is to be cool, somewhat motivated, and hang out with us. simple. u have to have a vehicle, of course, but we dont care what wheels you have or anything like that. its about the people!

You really just have to decide what you feel is best for you. This will determine the type of people and rides you end up with in your "club". //NC\\ has NO meetings, No dues and very few rules. Some of the rules we do have are pretty funny, for example: any 2 members together in the same place consuming an alcoholic beverage constitutes a meeting. We just have very stringent requirements for getting in the "club".

We meet on the first and third Friday of every month. Keeps confusion down. We have a small yearly fee at the beginning of the year that covers club expenses, like the website fees, and account fees, etc. Anything else is paid for out of pocket, such as EZ ups, or clug apparel/stickers. If you don't pay, you don't get one. We have officer elections every year.

like everyone's saying, do what's best for your club. generally, make sure your cool with the people in it. meetings aren't important if you hang out with the people on a regular basis. meetings are important if you got members branching your entire state or something so you can keep in touch. make sure the rides are hot and the people are cool. its bad rep for someone to show your name and piss people off daily or just plain be an idiot. if you got Under construction rides, make sure they're being worked on and not settling in primer and half finished work. simple, common sense stuff really. dues and all are pointless. i'm not willing to pay to get in a club personally. i'll buy my decals and what not, but that's it. but my suggestion is to make sure your club stays a club, and not just a sticker on a window that looks cool.

What does having dues help? Pay for your own gas, your own food, your own club logo vinyl....I dont see a point in club dues...but what do i know.

TRUCK CLUBS ARE OVERATED...HA HA JUST KIDDING.

do you whats best for you. I wouldnt follow in other clubs footsteps it will get you nowhere. And their should only be one or two inputs on the rules. if you have too many chiefs and not enough indians the club wont work. just like deciding on a club name, or logo. you only need one person deciding or two at max.

Like I said, we have a small fee at the beginning of the year that covers our website and business acount fee. The website is $140 a year with domain registration, the business acount is $60 a year, which will likely get dropped. Divide that up between the members and thats what you pay for the entire year, once. Everythign else is out of pocket.
