I did some bracing with the 1x1 i had in the garage, i ran out though,
what about behind your seats...?? ...fomr those pillars...nbear the door
ehy does everyone have trouble posting pics creat a photobucket accounta upload a pic and when its upload ull have 3 options under which you can copy and paste for other uses but the one ull nees is the html code right click and copy and then when you wanna post it in a forum right click and paste and if there is more then 1 i usually use a camma, and space between it and post another pic works everytime for me try it out
Im gonna keep the back seats, the car needs alot more bracing though, thanks for the tips man, How strong is 1x1?Originally posted by My5t3Ry

well ...1x1 1/8" tubing is what I will probably use...
I am going to keep my back seats but I may make a tubing reinforcement going to the pillar behind the seats and than put sheetmetal to seperate it or soomething ...I dont know ill think of something ... but I would put more going fomr side-side of the car...
also always try to brace before cutting...obviously a little late...lol...but what that does is make sure nothing moves/tweaks
I have seen this done on a Hyundai Excel hatch by a dude in Phoenix. Looked pretty sweet when he was done with it. I have a pic, but no scanner to upload it.
Took a pic of the pic with my digital cam. Not the best, but you get the idea.
Did that car orininally have a trunk or was it a hatchback? My car was a coupe!
