Funny you should ask...It's currently 9:40 pm, and after spending four and a half hours on our illustrious SoCal freeways trying to get home, we (Shaun, my carpool buddy & I) found out the Cajon pass was closed.

Shit.

So, we decided to head back to the office and call it a night. Hopefully we'll get some sympathy from the top brass in the morning and get to go home when the freeway opens up again.

This effing blows.

I was wondering about cajon pass( I-15)when I was looking to see how far you were from arrow head

I'm pretty f-----g pissed off right now! It's now 10:40 pm and according to the CHP, the pass is still closed...not because of fire, oh no...but because of some power lines might, not have, but might blow down due to the high winds.

Yup, you read that right. The state has f-----d over 30,000 people because some high power lines are swaying in the wind, and they could potentially fall onto the freeway.

This is BULLSHIT AND I AM MAD AS HELL!!!

I want to go home. Now.

Nope. That was all backed up because the hoople heads don't know how to drive. If I would have went that way, I'd still be on the freeway.
