I'm running out of energy to get my 99 s10 running again. I still have to:
tub firewall for 20's
relocate all the shit on drivers firewall (main wiring harness, clutch slave cylinder, etc.)
relocate battery
relocate fuse box
relocate computer
notch frame for tie rods
redo back valves
run 1/8" airline from all "T"s on valves to tri pod pillar
cut mounts from stock a pillar to make said tri pod pillar fit
get fittings to make stock brake lines fit aftermarket porportion valve
get fittings to go from master cylinder to porportion valve
decide to go hot rod air ($1000 ish), mod airbox, or ditch air all together (remember i'm a fat guy from Arkansas who wears shorts all year round cause i'm always hot)
raise gas tank (more)
make drag plate for gas tank
put on passenger upper and lower control arms
mod tranny crossmember
learn to weld so i can do all the aforementioned shit
and
put everything back together.

I don't have a shop, my truck's sitting outside half under an awning, i can only work on it late at night a couple nights a week (i work out of town during most of the week), and right now it's cold as shit and raining for days at a time.

And when i get it all back together, i can cruise in it a while while building a 350 and saving for a sfbd.

My problem is i'm really getting tired of working on it, i'm getting frustrated because i'm really not sure what i need to do next, all my friends who can help are either busy on other projects or no where to be found, and some of the shit i'm going to so much trouble to relocate is going bye bye when i put the 350 in, so it seems kinda redundant.

What would you guys do? I really want to get the 20's on it so i can roll to a couple shows this year. The only one i got to hit last year was Showfest, and that is no more. How do yall stay motivated? I've been working on it for 4 years, it's been bagged 3 years and i've only got to drive it maybe 2 1/2 months in that whole time, and it's wearing me out. Sorry if i sound like a bitch, but i just need something to keep me going before i decide to sell it like it is and start saving for something already done. I've always been a big proponent of the "built not bought" motto, but like i said, it's dragging ass right now (and not in the good way). Just looking for some input, or if anyone's close to west central Arkansas, PLEASE HELP!! Sorry for the War and Peace novel.

Oh yeah, i forgot to add, my wife decided that now would be the greatest time to redo the kitchen (new cabinets, countertop, paint) oh and while we're at it, we can paint the den (which could'nt be more full of shit if it was a PortAPotty at Lollapalooza) and the living room (which has about 150,000 pieces of trim and little knick knacks in the way that will have to be moved or taped over), and oh yeah, we'll have to redo the bathroom while we're at it (new tile, bathtub, surround, and cabinets) and also, why have'nt you put in my hardwood floors, you fat fuck?

Whew, sorry, had to get that off my chest.

Pay someone to do it, or be liek the rest of us and take years to finish it. My amigo has been under the knife for 4 years and i still have all to do it. And I do have a shop. LOL Just give it some time, and don't get depressed about it and do one thing at a time. Or i'll trade you a hot tub for your truck and u won't have to worry about it no more.

i believe i'd learn to weld and take it one project at a time man

it's not as much work as you think it is, you just need to dive in. took me a weekend to lay my s10 out on 20's and keep the air, but i already knew how to weld and researched every single thing i needed to do on s10forum.com

once you figure it all out it's simple. now i'm in the middle of a stockfloor/complete rebuild of an '86 s10 on 22's, and it's going awesome, will be done within a couple months

sound to me like you took on to many things at once. just take your time and you will be fine.

well, i'm trying to do everything that has to have major stuff taken off at once (if dash comes off, hot rod air, when bed comes off, redo valves, relocate battery, etc.) so i don't have to take it off again in the future, that's why i got so much on my plate.

at least you have people who will help you. everyone i know think bags are retarded so no one will help me with anything. I am going to have to ask people to lend me tools, rent plasmas and welders and do everything my damn self. just keep your head up and think about how it will be when you are done and how happy you will be.
