When I got my 01 S10 single cab, it had a shitty 3-link on it, I used the same lower bars and left them where they were and just put on two upper bars to make it into a 4-link.. Well, I am wanting to re-do the links so I can get my lower bars out of the stock leaf hangers.
I am just going to pull the axel out and cut all the mounting tabs off of it and start from scratch, my question is when it comes to setting the wheelbase.. I have never done this before.. Do i just measure from the center of the front hub to the center of the rear hub on both sides? or is there any other trick? Also, centering the axle in the frame, ya know from side to side.. Any tricks for that? last time I just measured from the inside of the hub to the frame on both sides and made them even..
Thanks in advance guys..

It is the stock frame.. with a notch in it.. its already bagged.... and I alrady have my other 4-link I'm gonna be using.
Here is what I have..
Everything is the same as when I got it, cept I put on the upper link bars and did away with the wishbone.. and made the crossmember... I'm going to re-do it all and rip all that shit off that is over the pumpkin..

the wheel base is best measured from the middle of the hub when i did my s10 i just measured the distance from the backing plate to the frame and centered it
