im just trying to figure out how everyone is getting old bodies to lay flat rocker on 22s without them coming through the hood. i have an 83 s10, and we just got it laying on a 245/40/20 which according to the miata.net tire calculator is actually 3/10s of an inch smaller than a 255/30/22, and the 20s i have come through the hood a good 1/2" or so. but at the same time, my truck has a 4" BD, but still has like 1/2" to drag of so IDK.... wierd.
I wish I would have taken pics of the back before Jason got everything cut & welded in. I bet he spent an ass on posterboard & tape. Deciding on how to make the pattern lay right & get the look he wanted was also a big priority too. Its funny watching him work...hell sit there & stare at
something for awhile, then all of a sudden he'll jump up & before you know it hes cut, welded, or beat something in to submission. Jason is one taltented guy & to think he's only 22. He can come up with some crazy ass ideas...thats why he's doing the suspension work on my eclipse.
im same way ill look at sumthing and see how i want it to be(usally dont turn out that way tho haha) also jeffs blazer rides like a cadddy 1/2 in off the ground
love the metal work on the hood and in the back!!! you guys are making me rethink keeping my 89 around damn!!!!
Ok..here are a few more pics of the front/rear suspension on the blazer & also Jason getting crazy with the plasma cutter.

Pretty sick. How close are his tires to coming above the back glass. I ditched my 22s cuz they came higher then the glass in the back, and I didnt want to run 30 series rubber. But the 265/35s were a good inch above the glass line.
i had the same problem with a 30 series rubber!
