ok guys ...I had a thread going last time of my suicide door thread and the problems I was running into ... I really just had a few questions on this one ... I have the suicide door kit and I already put a rod through the pins in the back and welded angle iron to the back in order for it to be straight
1. when the hinges/door are closed do the hinges need to be vertically level?? ...b/c there is no way I can move my bottom hinge out farther and turn counterclockwise in order to do so...PLUS...suicidedoors tech help doesnt know as well...
2. is it not weird that when putting a level on top of the hinge, the top one reads level and the bottom hinge is a bit off...
it is hard to understand your problem, I did my doors on my dime, it was very had to do by myself but completed it with minor problems so if you can explain your problem better than maby i can help

ok ... say you have the hinges closed...as though the door was...and you put a bar running vertically across them connecting them in order to find if they are level ...my problem is ...I cant get the hinges level while the door would be closed...when I open and swinge the hinges open they are level...
basically ...where did you measure to see what was level in order to weld the pockets and everything in?
