i am almost done cutting the cab loose and i was getting ready to cut the frame up front just behind the core support but looking on street source i dont notice anyone on here cutting the frame up front to drop the core support..I am just writing to see what these people are doing to line up their fenders and hood and make the bumper touch the ground if they are not cutting the frame there..

what i did on the mazda i b/d...was just cut the bumper/core support mounts off of the front of the frame and move them down..this way you dont have to mess with the strut rod mounts..but you will have to notch out the crossmember for the radiator hose..

Are you talking bout the front frame horns? On my truck we bolted the cab back to the frame then welded some right angle from the driver side to the passanger side so that when we cut off the front frame horns they would still be square and straight. Then we bolted up the fenders to the cab and measured everything on the jig and welded the front frame horns back on with the fenders bolted to the radiator support and frame horns.
