My friend has a 90 chevy 1500. his drivers side rear wheel takes spells where it wants to lock up. Ive allready put a wheel cylinder in. That didnt stop it. What else could it be? Its just the drivers side wheel thats doing it
and when i changed the wheel cylinder there was no evidence of fluid leaking in the brakes so that is out too. What else could cause a wheel to lock up like this?
maybe the wheel bearing is bad
maybe a sticking brake caliper?

that would be a drum brake not a disc. common problem, replace the hardware(springs etc) and shoess and machine the drums if there machinable. also go ahead and replace the axle seals cuz there prob bad or gona go bad like all of them do.
it sounds like to me that the brakes are engagign not disengaging.
ur brake shoes may be adjusted to tight on that side it will cause a wheel to lock up
If servicing the brakes don't fix it drop the diff cover and make sure everything is O.K. in there....
