just wondering on an 83 s10 with ART uppers and lowers, how much the frame needs to be notched for the tie rod ends for a 245/40/20. its like .3" shy of a 255/35/22 if that helps. would it so little that i wouldnt really need to weld in any new metal?? asking because the entire frame of the truck is powder coated and the dummies didnt bother getting the truck to lay, and i dont really want to cut it all up and have to paint over the nice powder coating. Thanks!!!

if you ant in a hurry we will have our new tie rod ends for s-10 real soon and you wont have to cut at all for the tie rods. give me a call next week and i can give you some info on them.
Thanks Richie
I cut 2" then boxed it in. So def. box it in that's all ready a week spot from cutting the spring pocket out. If you could cut it round is always better n use 2" piping n cut it in half. good luck
yea i figured i was going to have to add some metal in like i did in my 98... just really sucks cause now im going to have to grind the powder coating off and weld in some metal and thet podwer coating is a dark blue with like black specks in it, so paint match is damn near impossible for a decent price. oh well!!
