i've been looking at jeeps also and its hard to find a nice non rust bucket cj-7 for under that price ,, 1997 and up tj's can be found for around that but most are 4 cyl .. Good luck wish i could help

yeah, found a all fiberglass '77 cj-7 locally for what I thought was a good price... $3300... gonna have a fair amount in it though, already did steering box and shaft and new seats and a bunch of trinket shit... but they hold value purty well, so should be fine... one of these days I'll add a profile on here for it...
