im fixing to run all new air line for the front of my 86 chevy c-10,would it be better to put them on the tank or would it be better to put the valves 2 feet from the bags. if i put them on the tank will there be a diffrence in the speed. the tank is mounted in the bed at the front with all 1/2 line thanks for the help.

I don't think it will make a noticeable difference. But, it will take a little extra air to fill that extra 4 feet of 1/2" line to the front.

I Mounted my front valves in the front bumper, that works very fast rather than out back. the closer to the bag the better.

out back they are mounted to a crossmember behind the axle on the frame

my personal opinion is have them mounted sumwhere so if ur truck is layed out and sumthin happens to the valves or the wiring you can get to them very easy. im mounting mine right behind my step notch under my bed. so i can get to them from the whole in the bed floor....just my 2c

i moved my valves from my tank to my frame, onle forward about 3 or 4 more feet and it made a noticable diff...made my truck hop an inch when it never did before

If I remember right valve will starte to open when the pressure behinf it drops so if your running them at the end of the line and you get a leak in the line well you know what happens. With tem closer to the tank less line to get a leak in. I could be wrong!!!!

it depends on you. the closer to the bag you mount the valves for that bag the faster its going to be.
