Diamond plate in bed

I am looking at doing diamond plate for my bed floor but have a question. I know if it gets wet that it will cause it to turn white and look hazy. My bedcover is a checkmate so it leaks onytime the truck gets wet. Is there anythingI can treat the metal with before I put it in the bed to keep it looking good? Would a clear coat work?

i had mine in full dimond plate, it sucked to take care of! i tryed to clear coat a pice of it, but it flaked off. i my have done something wrong to prep it, but im not sure. never heard or zoopseal, maybe that will work. good luck.

I agree, try Zoop Seal. I have used Zoop seal on various billet on my truck and they are still as bright as they day I bought them- two years later.
