i'm about to buy a plasma cutter within the next couple weeks, and i need some info from people who have experience with them. i'm lookin for one that cuts from sheetmetal to 1/4". i was lookin at the Miller Spectrum 375, but it seems its a little more than i want to spend. i'd like to only spend about $800-$1000 on a good one that will last, if thats even possible.

I got a lincoln pro cut 25, i got a deal on it for only $650 at a charity auction at a car show. They usually go for 1000-1200. Very nice tool, i dont know how i ever worked without one now. It cuts to 3/8 too.
