Need help/air problems

OK,had a shop bag my truck.A nightmare!Anyway,my truck is here at my place,running an Oasis XD 2000,on a Hardbody,one Yellow top battery.Not enough power,compressor keeps shutting off,valve for rear left side leaking.Airs up,immediately starts dropping.Right side ok.I know I need a 2nd battery,but is the valve bad,or can I do something to fix it,til I can get it back to the shop,which is 1 hour away.Valves are GC Extreme's.Was also looking to upgrade alternator,but the places that have 100 amp,can't even help me with the type of bracket I would need.I'm not really mechanically inclined,but if you fellow Mini Truckers can guide me in the right direction,I may be able to get this thing on the road.Can't drive it in this condition.Thanks

gc's are notorious for this when they are new. give them some time and they will start working right.

i'm not sure about the other stuff, i dont mess with the Oasis comps.

definately need more power. a friend of mine has one and 2 red tops and he is mentioning getting an alternater to help out with the power

Check with Ohio Generator they make a direct replacement alternator that is 180 amps. www.ohiogen.com

check all your fittings. use windex or a soapy water to find the leak. check all the fittings and lines were thay bend or go threw metal. Also if u have a relay set up that is only turns on 5 or so secs after the truck starts it will take away from the starter drain. try using a blue top its a deep cycle battery and will have more cracking amps. I got a place in michigan that can make u a new alt for a good deal. i got a 250 amp in a 03 s10 and have no problems with bags 4 amps and other things going on.
