flared bedsides...pics??

I need to flare my bedsides in order to get a chrome 22" wheel to tuck w/o rubbing on my 99+ fullsize chevy. If you have any pics on how you did it or how it turned out once you were finished, please post them.
FYI: Shortening my axle is not the route I want to take right now because I already have my 4-link welded in.

TAKE A SISSOR JACK AND A BLOCK OF WOOD PUT THE SISSOR JACK ON THE INSIDE OF THE WHEEL WELL WITH THE BLOCK OF WOOD AND CRANK ON THE JACK. Go a little futher than you need because it will flex back then just weld in some brackets to keep it in place. There was an artical in Minitruckin about a year ago when they did it to a mazda bed. Florida hope this helps

Yeah, I actually read that article online. My concern is how the end result looks. I can't tell from the pics in that article if the board left any kind of outline from the pressure. I don't really want to have to do any body work if I can keep from it. Thanks for the reply though!!

no, my bed is all metal since it is a fleetside.

Post up some links that that article, if you are worried about leaving markes then use something to spread out the pressure on the outer bedside and not just the end of a 2x4.

pulling bedsides is simple
go down to the hardware store all you need is 2" brackets.. or just a flat piece of strap metal with two holes for self tapping screws
you need to cut the inside of your fenderwells
and put a small jack in the center of your fender towards the bottom and slowly jack it out until u get a good sized flare or gap and put the brackets in until you can fill the gap with sheet metal
theres other litle things u need to do
but i dont remember exactly everything
it was easy.. took all of 30 minutes to do both sides

In the last pic it looks like it left marks on the outside of the bed.
