get a proportioning valve from a first gen S10, rip the ABS out and plumb your brakes to the valve, then off to the front with a t and run the line to the back. there is a how-to on it on s10forum.com

let me ask you, why exactly do you want to get rid of it. i mean do what you want, but if i were you, id just relocate it. there is plenty of room, even if you have the v6.

getting rid of it does not make braking any harder, etc. getting rid of it really makes the engine bay look a lot better.

fuck ABS

I have just tee'd the front lines together with a tee and got a union for the rear lines to union them together and have worked out great without a 1st gen porportioning valve. not 1 problem at all with 50k miles on the truck i did by now. this was a few years back.

you will most likely have to order the flared brake fittings from Napa, they are the only person i could find that had em. Looking at spending 50 or so to ditch it.

I am wondering the same thing just took my fenders out yesterday. I have heard you can just T your lines. But I am wondering what everyone is doing with the fuse relay center also.

wow, i always think weird things when i read this same post over and over..
take your abs pump off and put it behing the bumper. plumb the lines to it. you wont see it, it will be very "clean" as you want your engine bay to be,and your abs will still work. and how clean will it be? are you making new inner fenders? because if you dont it gets very dirty and nasty under hood. rocks chip the paint off your hood.. gettin rid of abs just because someone thinks it looks better is just ridiculous - just move it..

potter, i know it doesnt have any adverse effects on the braking system (other than the abs not engaging). i ditched mine too, but i was just informing him that he didnt have to if he didnt want to. i just tee'd mine together as well. i actually found my tee at advance, but i had to look for it myself because they couldnt understand what i was doing. here is a pic of a truck hellbent customs did, relocating the abs. looks clean to me.
