Those come on the 3.8l V6 motors. You could make it work on the 2.5 but it woudn't be worth the trouble. You'd be better off swapping in a turbo setup from the 2.4l (87-8 SVO mustang, T-Bird turbo coupe, XR-7 cougars. 87-88 were the fuel injected years and there isn't that much difference between the 2.4 and 2.5l.

Actually its 2.3 not 2.4 that has the turbo setup.

The 3.8 is a completely different engine Cliff then any Ranger has come with.
