Road trip!!

Hey guys, I was trying to figure a road trip with a (non minitrucker) friend next summer. First I thought we could go south to Myrtle beach and enjoy the beach and party a bit out there and maybe come back home more by the land than the coast.

Then my friend came up with the idea of taking route 66 the whole way... that is a major road trip!! it would be something like a 9000 miles road trip!!!

My question here is, what is there to do in Myrtle beach and surrounding area (I've been there twice when I was 8-9, I really enjoyed the vacation, but I wasn't very much into parties lol...btw that was the first time I ever saw a minitruck!!!)

Also, is it worth the trip to make the whole route 66?? what are the things to do/see while on the road?? (keep in mind my friend isn't a minitrucker, but I can manage to make a few mt stops ).

I'd like to hear from you so we can begin to plan the trip!

route 66 is boring and doesn't exist in a lot of places it used to.

I would just fly to the beach and get drunk and fly home, ... 9,000 miles is a lot of driving.

Route 66 is cool if you have silver hair and a walker. We have about 40 miles of the original route 66 in the Tulsa area, there are alot of boring ass old people shops, antiques, furniture, you get the idea. Personally I have never been to any one of them and I drive down part of the original route 66 every day. Id wait until you are married for 40 years and then see if its fun.

Thanks for the updates guys!! That's what I was looking for.... I wasn't sure it that route66 was all that good.

As for Panama city... my friend isn't a minitrucker... but I think the drunk college sluts could help him enjoy the ride

So now I guess we'll be looking for cool places to hang out... Where's the best place to have fun?? we're looking for the 2 last weeks of july or the first 2 of august.

Spring Fling.. YES.. Thats the place to be in March.. Look for the sideways drunk guy walking with a beer.. that will be me.. LOL Wait there will be more then just one of me down there.. Damn the route 66 drive.. Load up in the dragger and come see college sluts in Panama City. It will be worth the gas..
