I was wondering everyones opinion on a welder. I want some that can do body work and frame work. So far I have been told that a Mig welder would be perfect. Gas of course. And probably a 220 or 225. I was told miller and lincoln would be the ones to get them from too. What do y'all suggest?

hobart handler 187, its made by miller but its cheaper because its not as industrial of a welder, if you not running a shop i would get this one.

I have a Miller 210 and I love it. I does good on body work and even better on frame work. I got the spool gun with it to weld aluminum. I haven't used the spool gun yet so I can't tell you how it works. You can't lose with Miller.

I have a Miller 210. I've used a Hobart 110V and a Lincoln 220V and the Miller welds the best. I get excellent penetration and this thing will weld up to 1/2". It's a little pricy, but I should never need another welder. This one even does aluminum/stainless steel w/ the add-on gun. Who could ask for more?
