anyone used hypertherm plasma

got one for a good price anyone used them

had one on my cnc. Got a Thermal Dynamics now, along with oxyfuel.
What model, whatcha asking for it?

I have one. Mines the 600. Works great. Cuts 1/4 like butter and cuts 1/2 pretty decent. I've had it about 2 month's. I don't know how I did anything without it. i haven't even touched my torch since I got it.

thank god cause a torch is better then just a sawsall but plasma is gonna fucking rock

Sorry bout that, didn't understand you. I had a 600 and a 1250. The 600 was cool, but the 1250 was the shiz. I only use plasma on 1/4 and thinner, thicker than that I use oxyfuel. Plasma leaves a noticable5 degree bevel on 3/8 and thicker, whereas oxyfuel doesn't. Well, actually, plasma leaves that bevel on anything, but it is not noticable until you get 3/8 and thicker.and no, I am not talking about hand cutting. I mean when it is on the cnc.

Not tryin to jack your thread but what kinda CNC did u have it hooked up to waylowwhitey?
