AIM STILL SUCKS

Just got my new minitruckin in and bam! A Four page spread of absolute shit. IF Anyone didnt know it already, AIM sucks ass at everything. Funny that they can still afford advertising, think that they would have ran out of suckers by now.

theres a sucker born every minute. I really wish minitruckin would drop them, they have to know by now they suck dick. Now that thorbekie advertises and gets liek 10 pages there shouldnt be any excuses. i got ripped by them 10 years ago. and still am pissed off. If any one from MT reads this can you explain to me why they are still around? i just dont get it?

it seems like a contradiction to me. as minitruckers we should stand togeather, yet our bible Minitruckin mag knows they fuck people. but they dont stop publishing their ads? Ok may be a few years back the mag was hurting and needed support from advertisers, but like i said jason has a 10 page spread. Id pay more peryear for a subscription just to see em drop aim. I neve r forget they mail me the wrong four link and then try to charge me a restocking fee, i dispute it on my mothers credit card that i had to beg to use. they call my house and ask why i disputed it and that they would take it back but charge a 35 percent restock. Now this is on a part they fucked up that wasnt even made for my truck. Then the guy says to me your not gettin your money back, and told me to go fuck my self! this was 1996 and i was 17 years old and had no clue on how to build any thing. and at teh time there werent any other places selling air ride shit. Lol ART was in its infancy back then and un heard of. Ever time i pick up the latest MT i think to my self how the fuck are they still in print? And why?

i have an AIM Industries 4link on my Mazda. it came on time and has worked out great. i also have an AIM grille and air gauges on the truck. everything is great. havent had any trouble with them but this is like 4 years ago.

maybe start a petition? I'd sign it and renew my subscription at a higher rate if they dropped AIM as an advertiser.

Much like magazines. If you do not like something don't buy it. MT had a staff change when people stopped buying it. Notice that the AIM ads are much smaller then the time you had your experience with them. Plus the fact that they have had spans of time where they didn't advertise. For a long time they were the only place and filled up the mags with their ads and all their shadow companies. In this scene propaganda makes you successful. If you are starting out and see a huge ad, logic is they must be good to afford this. SD has done a killer job and knows they aren't the only deal in town. AIM was the only deal in town and were complete dicks to show that. Just support what people you like. And if someone asks a question in a forum just express where you have had good experiences. I've bought from AIM once. That was good enough for me. I use local shops for parts, like First Class Autowerks, IF Customs, and Totally Polished. All have been helpful on work and getting parts for years. Being able to see the person you get parts from is alot easier to deal with then emails that may or may not get answered. My last out of state experience wasn't very fun. Much like smokey the bear "Only you can prevent shitty companies from living"

this is a hate thread not for testimonials! your one of the lucky ones lol. i also had a set of lower arms by them. The balljoint plate on each arm was welded at two different angles. and made my truck off by an inch on one side. They should write an apology for being fucked up in the next issue.
