any body know how to make there own switches

i wanna try make my own switches the kind you would put in your dash or in your center console, does anybody know how to make that? help is always welcome

this was a prewired switch box with a sheetmetal cover that i painted black.

what do you mean by make your own switches? they're only a couple of bucks.

yea, and there are allots of different kinds! I perfer the light switch style. Allot easier than trying to make a switch

what kind of switches do you want?

just take the switches out of a prewired 10 switch box...thats what i did for my tacoma

I have machined some switches out of a solid piece of steel, is that what your talkng about?

in my machine shop class in highschool i used the lathe and made some out of aluminum and polished em up they came out pretty good
and i passed my class for em too

lol ive never seen anyone use an actual lightswitch.. that would be funny tho
a big ass box full of lightswitches

i like toggle switches because they click and arent super easy to click back over and drop your shit if u bump a switch
