Im looking for some pics of how people have their pedals setup after they converted to RHD.

I've searched a few profiles of people I know with RHD, but none ever seem to show pics of the pedals.

I think its gonna be a little bit of getting used to with the pedals.

Thanks!

when i built my austin bantam in my profile i put the pedals technically backwards. i put them in like i was on the left hand side drive. gas on the right so forth and so on. i was not brave enough to do the pedalas the correct way. it takes alot of getting use to driving it that way (rhd) because you want to be in perspective to the middle line, which when you are on the right hand side, puts half your car or truck in the other lane. it takes a bit of getting used to.

that's interesting... i never realized that true rhd cars had the pedals any diff than regular... so the clutch would be on the right too then? I've been wanting a rhd rx-7, but the shifting w/ my left hand was scaring me off a bit as it was... is the trans shift pattern the same generally or is that reversed too? was just going to convert a lhd car since the real thing is illegal to import still...

I used Lokar pedals. The gas pedal arm is Lokar, the brake pedal arm is custom made. The brake assembly attaches to a vette brake master cylinder. The steering column is an Ididit column. All that shit was fabricated to work with the dash and all the new steering linkage and the rack and pinion.

See my problem I guess comes into play with my firewall being tubbed. I've got a bit of room between the tranny tunnel and the tub, I can probably fit both pedals inbetween there but trying to use my right foot might be a little tricky. I could probably get away with mounting the brake in that open space and the gas pedal in front of the tub and make them lineup I guess.

I was thinking about it yesterday while sitting in the cab with the tubs tacked in. Probably wouldn't have been such a problem if I was just bd'd to the rocker.

its pretty cool though I can almost lay my palm flat on the ground while sitting on the seat! haha.

The pedals in a most japanese vehicles ar the same as LHD, My toyotas clutch is on the left, so ther is no clearnce issues with the clutch master and tire. The gas pedal on the right is kinda close to my speaker kick pod but what do you do?
