i have a set of 1/2" valves im going to be running on my s-10.my question is i want to run 3/8 line to reduce drop speed.is this a problem?

Usually there's no line coming off your dumps, so the airline between the valves and bags would affect the lift speed.. If you want to slow the dump speed down, you could use regular old brass Reducer Bushings, or use Plugs and keep drilling the hole a little at a time and screwing them in and testing until you get the desired speed. They would go right in your dump valves. Those would be the cheapest ways.. or for a couple bucks, you could use mini-ball valves:

no problem man, where are you mounting the valves at?
that's gonna be pretty quick lifting AND dropping,
when i had 1/2" valves Td right to my bags on my v6 blazer.. it slammed down HARD lol, i think i reduced it to 1/8". now i use the mini ball valves for the fills and dumps on anything i do, just so we can completely adjust the speed up and down.
