MightyMax rear axle bearings! HELP! !PLEASE!

I have my axles out of my 94 mighty max rear end. I took them all apart to have the wheel centering pilot on the outside of the axle machined down to fit my escalade wheels. Now i am re-assembleing. The hub goes on the axle, then you press on a bearing, and then a collar over the bearing. I have them pressed down with 25tons of pressure on my press bench and i need them to go another 20thousandths of an inch to get the snap ring on and i cant get it!!!!!! HELP ME
