so i was cutting out my firewall tubs to make them a little bigger and got a little happy with the grinder and ended up cutting my clutch line. the hard line thats in there now had to be hand bent and was a bit of a pain to install. just wondering if i can just cut out the damaged section and replace it with a soft line with clamps on the end to couplethe hard line back together. or does it all have to be hardline?

Your clutch isn't that low of a pressure, so I would imagine youd be better off to do the safe way better than having your shit blow out going down the freeway. If youve already got it apart just go ahead and fix it right. Do all hardline.

i used a small pressure fitting to repair a fubbed breakline from my cab. i just cut it compleatly apart then pit it in the center and tightend it down on both sides nice and good. worked like a charm, may work for ya. just throwing it out there.

when i worked at a shop in vegas this guy ron that i worked with seemed to love cutting brake and clutch lines. i remember this toyota that we were bagging he must have cut like 10 different line. anyway you can usally go to you local house of hose or ace hardware like place and they brake and clutch lines that have a spring wrapped around them so that you cand bend them with out kinking the line , they come in all diferent lenghts and sizes. hope that helps

shit yea if i cna just cut out the section and use a compressions type coupling on the line that would be kick ass as well. if not that spring wraped line sounds like pretty awesome shit.
