Recommendations on doing a dash

im back in rippin my dash and interior out for a 4th time, and i want to make sure i do i right......im wanting to shave out my defrost vents, and the seam between the dash and where the air bag was.......would u all recommend just sanding it smooth, and glassing the certain areas needed.......or lay mat over the whole thing, and do away with the stock dash, and just have a glassed copy of it???? i just dont want cracking, thats the main thing......

duramix 4040 is dabomb for filling gaps in flexable abs dash parts like bezels so it may work with the gaps on the dash not sure exactly what the dash material is tho.

Just get a flat piece of metal and make a metal dash like you did your front bumper. Bend it to fit with your hands.

Seriously I've heard the Duramix 4040 works good like said above. Bodyman's Friend should be able to get it.
