What air bags are being used to back a mid 90's lincoln towncar? Do you use the stock rear air springs, and if so, what about the stock solenoids? What bags/brackets do you use for the front?

From what I know about them working at Ford for a while, I'd probaly start clean and not reuse any factory stuff. The factory definently isn't meant to lay out, and is all computer controlled for the ride height sensors. That's just my opinion though, I'm sure other guys on here can you give better advice.

Ya arent the rear bags stock firestone but those sleeved ones? If it is, then maybe just put some firestones in the back and diff valves is probably what I would do. Not sure if the rear will be low enough for you though. Then the front is pretty self explanatory.

The back of a towncar sports sleeve bags with a built in control. You can use them and it will lay pretty good but first you have to look to see how good they are.If they are soft and clean pull the pin and take the valve out.Cut the extra plastic off the front of the hole and tap it for a pipe fitting.I can't remember but I think a half inch works.Be careful not to crack the housing.them plum you air to it and your done. Also you have to drill the orfice before you tap it.
