Live in Maine... have a few questions...

I dont know if there are many people on here form around Maine but i had a few questions for anyone running air setups here. i have an accord running air cylenders and i can get an inspection sticker on that sometimes because the cylenders arent all taht noticeable... but i was just wondering how you all go about getting one on your trucks ? cause im about to bag a few trucks and could use some tips... i was told that some guys have contacted the state police to try and figure something out but i was just curious...

ohhh im quite familiar with them already... its just i was talking with someone a while back that knew of a guy in maine that had a bagged S10 that had actually got soemthing going with the state and they told him what he would neeed to do inorder to run the truck on the road... i just posted to get some feedback i guess...

in maine you cannot alter the suspension on any vehicle with abs brakes. you will need to find an inspection mechanic that will sell you you stickers illegally.

yeah, ive done the whole "buying" a sticker thing in the past and stuff and i know people that can get me a sticker reguardless. but the shops are getting into alot more shit for that now and i dont want to be responsible for getting someone into trouble... im doing a hardbody and an older yota so abs isnt an issue anyhow... but i was told inorder to be "legal" on an air setup the state was requiring us to have some sore of "backup system" incase a line faled or a bag popped or soemthing... do you run you trucks on the road at all??

i drive my truck almost daily. but its always at a ride hieght that looks as stock as possible.

as far as i know ther is nothing that will make your air suspension legal for a sticker no matter whar you do. they will keep coming up with diff reasons why they wont sticker it(ride height,altered frame,diconnected suspension) just to name a few.

kool man thanks for the response... do you just run yours without a sticker?? and like i said... i know how this state works ( i f*cking hate it) ive been writen up for pritty much everything in the book, im just trying to do things right for once haha but thanks for your help again...(are there many people on here from maine?)
