So today at 10:30 this morning my moms truck was hit in the driveway! We do not know the whole story yet because the police said they won't know anything until next Monday...

What we do know is, some guy was driving a recently tagged Grand AM and speeding down our street. He then clipped the front of a Culligan Water delivery truck, bounced off the truck hit the curb and then drove up in our driveway crashing into my moms Dakota.

He then got out of the car to look at the damage, got back in and drove half a block before the car died, then he ran off. The police have the car now but as of right now he has not been found. We do not know if the car was stolen or just purchased since it had a paper tag. So we are not sure who the guy was or who the car belonged to.

I have no idea how fast the guy was going because when he hit the Culligan truck it was a good half block down the road! Then after he hit my moms truck he pushed her truck 8 feet! If her truck was not in the driveway I would be repairing a wall right now!

Good news is no one innocent was hurt and no Culligan water was spilled

The truck isn't that bad but still, it was sitting in the driveway... How much damage do you think there is? The bed has been pushed to one side and the bumper is slighty crooked too.

i wouldnt be concerned w/ the bumper, more like the cab corner, thats a hard hit, id say prob 9 hrs on door(body and paint labor) prob 6 hrs on the cab corner and about 3 on the bed to repair, thats just off the top of my head and not seeing it in person, but defintly atleast a 3k wreck. most shops are gona want to replace the door skin and cab corner, but they can be fixed.

That would not have been pretty to hit Mark's truck. That would've really sucked.

Was his truck there the same day??

No his truck was parked there back in June after a local car show. He left it there because his daughter was playing softball and he didn't want to leave it in the parking lot. I don't know what I would have said if that did happen. I'm sure it would have been hard to say anything with a broken jaw
