ok so im up here in Canada and am storing my truck in my garage over the winter. The garage isnt heated. I was just wondering what i should do before and during the time the truck is away in order for nothing to be fu**ed up when i take it out in April.

start it once a week, check antifreeze level, maybe disconnect the negative terminal from the battery (until you start it). Lift it up onto blocks or jacks to keep all the weight off the tires so they dont have any flat spots. cover if possible. may have left stuff out but thats what I would do.

place mouse traps all around it because mice will always find their way into a freshly re upholstered seat, it sucks

fuel stabaliser.

if that gas sits too long it may gum up and shit.

fill up the gas tank with good gas and put some type of fuel stabilzer so the gas does not breakdown, check anti freeze, ckeck all fluids, put truck up on blocks or jackstands so you do not get flat spots, disconect battry start once a month let truck get up to operating temp if you have an air system drain the tanks and lines so water does not build up,cover up truck if you can also wash it before you put it away make sure it is good and clean.if truck has a stereo with removeable face plate take the face plate into the house

ya, the truck is fully bagged, so i should put it on jacks and then let the bags droop? i have heard that isnt good for them? and should i drain any water out of the tanks? if so, how might i go about doin that?

put it on jackstands or blocks or something, but dont let the bags droop. youll need to put stands or blocks under the control arms in the front and under the rear end in the back. dont have the bags collapsed all the way, but say right in the middle. it will keep them from pulling apart

drain any water out of the tanks, also i would put sumthing under the suspension to hold the bags up, drooping them tears the crimps.

PUT YOUR STANDS UNDER YOUR AXLE IN THE REAR AND UNDER THE ARMS IN THE FRONT THIS SHOULD KEEP THEM COMPRESSED CAUSE LETTING THEM DROOP CAN CAUSE THEM TO HAVE KNOTS POP OUT IN THEM NEXT SPRING

YOU MIGHT BE ABLE TO USE A NYLON TIE STRAP TO HOLD UP YOUR REAR END AND FRONT END FROM DROOPING. ALSO, THERE SHOULD BE A DRAIN PLUG ON THE BOTTOM OF YOU TANK. I DONT HAVE ONE ON MINE SO WHEN I HAD TO DRAIN IT I UNPLUGGED IT FROM WHERE THE COMPRESSORS GO IN. IF THERE IS WATER IN THE TANK, YOU COULD SIPHON IT OUT WITH AN ELECTRIC SIPHON AND SOME 1/8" RUBBER LINE.
