Has anyone ever done a stockfloor with the beams? I always hear of people doing a yota clip. But I cantseem to find one, and I dont really want to have to change the steering and all that shit up. Besides, I like my beams. I wanted to z it then lower the motor down an inch or two to compensate. Any thoughts?

im stockflooring it. so im cutting about 2 or 3 inches off the bottom framerails and reboxing them in. so yes, it does need to be z'd cause my truck is already laying frame and the beams arent goin anylower

That's not the way most people do a stockfloor, so your Z question is sort of out of the norm. If you did it the way you are talking, I'm guessing you would more than likely need to take 3" out of the bottom of the frame and then Z it. You prolly won't have to drop your motor but it might help for the extra clearance.

One question though, if you are going to go thru all the trouble of pulling your cab and such, why not do a more reliable stock floor? By using 2x3x1/4" all the way back from the factory clip?

he wants to cut the bottome of the frame off, so yes it does need Z'd .. he does know what a Z is apparently.

you can keep the stock position of the cab mounts, and not have to b/d the bed if u do it that way

YES IT DOES NEED TO BE Z'D --- IF U HAVE THE SKILL -- IT IS EASIER TO JUST BUILD A FRAME FROM THE Z ON BACK !!!

thank you navi gangsta. And lownissan, if you cant understand what im talking about then it is you who does not know what a z is. And the reason Im just going to modify the stock framerails is so I dont have to make new cab mounts, and dont have to build a complete custom frame. I know what Im capable of, and to modify my frame already in place is one thing, but to build a complete custom frame Im not so sure of.
