disc brake conversion

anybody know about this for a 64 impala? i heard you can use s10 or monty parts spindles,rotors,capilers, master cylinder? is this true or should i buy the $899 kit??

Get the rear axle out of a Blazer with discs.

Basically you can make anything work. I'd use 79+ GM metric calipers and whatever rotors work.

lower ball joint points down but im thinkin bout pressed in s10 balljoint and s10 parts

I'm soon to be doing this to my '64 Cadillac also. Does anyone have any help on this? Any kits or anything?
