Looking to buy, which one should I?

I'm trying to do some research on some hondas. I'm looking for a new reliable, performance, versitility, and future modifications.... Does anyone know what would be the best. I've been looking into coups but the Si Hatchback has my eyes...... Does anyone know if this car is worthy or should I get a coup EX V-tech.. Anyone know the Hp for Ex and for Si?Is an Si a 1.8 Vtech? I heard it wasnt a "true" Vtech whats that about? IF you had 12 grand what honda Civic (stock) would you buy?

The 99,00 honda civic SI is a 1.6 liter DOHC Vtec which is a bad ass car which has about 40-45 more horsepower then the EX and the hatchback Si which was 01,02,03 there ok but not as powerful and fun as the 1999,2000

any other ideas on the car? how about future mods in idea? The Si Hatch is rated 40 more horses than ex lx and so forth... seems to me they are the fastest from factory???

look more into the 99 and 2000 Si then, so far its been harder to find a lot of parts for my 01 Civic LX

If I had 12k i would buy an American RWD V-8 and not do anything to it and Drive around lookin for Hondas to embaress.

No there's no 4dr Si's. The 92-95's were hatches, there was no Si from 96-98, the 99-00 were Coupes, and the 01-04 or 05 were hatches, then they went back to Coupes.
