Ok, it's not really about the 20's, but kinda. I've got my main wiring harness plugs disconnected from the computer, fuse box, heater, etc and pushed thru the firewall, so the whole harness is in the cab. My question is, do i need to cover all those unplugged posts? I'm not worried about water or anything, but my truck is outside and from the windshield forward is sitting under an awning. I'm wondering if bugs, dirt, etc. will get in those plugs and short something out when i hook it all back up. I know most of you guys have shops and don't have to worry about it, but i don't and do.

Plastic wrap and duct tape always work great! Just a once over and some tape to snug it down and ya should be good. But be sure to unplug tha battery too just for safe measures

or you can do what I did when I stored my bded s10 to the trees. I masturbated in the plugs to keep the elements out.....seems to be working so far.

ok, i'll have to try bill's idea, seems much funner than the others, lol. I don't think i was clear, the plugs are in the cab so i'm not worried, but lots of the receptacles are facing up so it'd be easy to get dust and stuff in there. And don't worry, i took the battery out before i ever did anything else.

if they're facing up, turn them over maybe?

seems kind of obvious to me
