tires for a 18X8 wheel

I was looking for suggestions for tire size for a 18x8 wheel. The wheels are going on a bagged hardbody. I was thinking a 215/35 or a 215/40 but is that going to be stretched too much on a 8" wide wheel? Do I need to step up to a 225/35 or 225/40?

I would go with 225/35/18's If you want to know what they look like, look at the yellow mazda thats in the truck issue. It has 18x8 american racings with those tires.

I HAD 215/35'S ON MY OLD HARDBODY WITH 18X8'S.FIT GREAT. I USED TOYO FZ-4'S. HOPE THAT HELPS

They will look streched, but they will work. I'd recommend the 225/35/18.

anyone else have any opinions?
